FC Dynamo Kyiv defeated fourth-placed FC Vorskla Poltava 4-1 at the Lobanovskyy Dynamo stadium to move eleven points clear of their nearest pursuers at the top of the table.
Oleksandr Aliyev gave Dynamo the lead from the penalty spot after 16 minutes and the White-Blues soon doubled that advantage when Miloš Ninković turned in Aliyev's pass in the 30th minute.
Three minutes later, Vorskla midfielder Kostyantyn Yaroshenko pulled one back for the visitors, but the hosts restored their two-goal lead in the second half, with Aliyev converting a free-kick after Artem Milevskyy had been brought down.
The final word came from Artem Kravets. The forward added to Dynamo's tally in the 67th minute, putting his side 4-1 ahead.
It is noteworthy that the fixture with Vorskla became a special one for Dynamo midfielder Serhiy Kravchenko, who played against his former team-partners for the first time.
