Roberto Rosetti from Italy will take charge of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round game between Dynamo Kyiv and Spartak Moskva to take place on Wednesday, August 27, in Kyiv. He will be assisted by his compatriots Nicola Nicoletti and Roberto Romagnoli, with Oscar Girardi, also from Italy, acting as fourth official.
Gerhard Kapl from Austria and Guy Goethals from Belgium have been appointed UEFA delegate and UEFA Referee observer, respectively.
The 40-year-old started refereeing in 1983, and took charge of his first match in the Italian Serie A in 1996. He received his FIFA Badge in 2002. Besides Rosetti was selected to referee four matches at UEFA Euro 2008 in Switzerland and Austria, including final match between Germany and Spain.
