Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Justin Lonwijk commented on the 3:0 victory over Epitsentr in the sixth round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
– I’m happy that we got a good result. We played well today and scored three great goals.
– You scored Dynamo’s second goal. Moreover, it was your first goal in Kyiv this season. What emotions are you experiencing?
– Only positive ones. I had been waiting for this goal for a long time, just as the team had been waiting for a confident victory.
– You are currently one of Dynamo’s key midfielders. How comfortable do you feel in head coach Ihor Kostiuk’s tactical setup?
– Very comfortable. I can play with an emphasis both on defence and on attack. We are playing good football, so I feel good.
– Share your secret: how do you manage to regularly win the competition for a place in the starting lineup?
– There is no real secret. I just work hard every day and give one hundred percent. Thanks to this, I can show my strengths. The coach sees my desire to play and rewards it with his trust.
