FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Justin Lonwijk scored his first goal for the club in the UPL matchday 12 game against FC Oleksandria (3:1). After the final whistle, he shared his impressions of the match.
- Congrats on victory and your first goal for Dynamo! Do you think your adaptation is going well?
- I try to move forward constantly. I think my adaptation is going fine and I’m doing better in terms of communication with the team on the field.
- You scored five minutes upon taking the field after cross by Tsyhankov. Could you please tell about the combination?
- I won the long ball after which saw that Tsyhankov and Vanat rushed forward using free space. Viktor looked at me and Vanat and chose to pass to me. It was a good debut goal.
- Oleksandria are above Dynamo in the league table. What do you think of this team?
- Oleksandria did a good job, but we must focus on gaining three points in every match. We lost a lot early in the season, so now we must succeed each time.
- Dynamo were only one goal in front before you scored. Did you goal give the team confidence?
- We controlled the situation on the field. Personally I was feeling totally confident. We conceded one, but generally things were under our control.
- How do you communicate with teammates? Whom do you mostly communicate with?
- I try to speak English. Besides I’ve started learning Ukrainian a bit. For example, Vanat and other young players speak English pretty well. We don’t have any communication issues.
- Buialskyi has scored his 9th UPL goal of the season. Is he the key player of the team?
- It’s important for the team that Buialskyi scores a lot. Besides, his position on the field is vital. He’s the leader and key element of the team.
