Albanian side home ground is Skenderbeu Stadium, but as far it doesn’t meet UEFA demands they play euro cups games at Elbasan Arena.
This multifunctional stadium is located in the city if Elbasan. It has the capacity of 12 800 seats. This is the third largest arena in Albania. Anyway, Dynamo will oppose Skenderbeu behind closed doors as home side fans have got a ban from UEFA.
Elbasan Arena was opened in 1967. Until 2014 only KF Elbasani featured at this stadium. In January of 2014 it was announced that Albania national team would play Euro-2016 qualifiers here. To make that possible they reconstructed the arena for 5,5 million euro.
The ceremony of the reconstructed stadium opening took place on October 11 2014, when Albania hosted Denmark in Euro-2016 qualifier. The game ended in a draw – 1:1.
