Having lost too many points earlier this season, the White-Blues are trying to change the situation for better.
Before the game, Dynamo had serious lineup problems. Defender Mykyta Burda and goalkeeper Denys Boiko have had surgeries. Two more players missed the match due to suspension – Volodymyr Shepelev and Artem Besedin. Olexiy Mykhailychenko decided to try the couple of centre backs Popov-Shabanov while Sol was the striker.
In the first half there were few scoring opportunities, but still the White-Blues managed to hit the target. De Pena put a cross into the box from the left side, Mykolenko rushed into the penalty area and headed the ball in.
After the break visitors got more active. Considering the score, the game remained intriguing till the final whistle, but Kyivans’ defense coped with the pressure.
