Such status guaranteed the guy comfortable life, but he decided to choose his own path.
Mohammed started his career at the Ghanaian club Ashanti Gold SC from his native town of Obuasi. In 2014 he reached the first team and made his debut in professional football. In 2016, when he had about 20 appearances and silver medals of domestic league to his name, the young player was spotted in Europe.
Kadiri got transfer offer from FK Austria Wien. Of course he took it and signed the contract, but because of bureaucratic issues he played the first game for his new team only in October – against SV Mattersburg.
In his first season in Europe, 2016/17, Mohammed didn’t play a lot (12 appearances in all competitions), but it can be explained by adaptation difficulties as the following season he became definite first team regular. As a result – 22 appearances in Austrian Bundesliga, 1 in the national cup, 3 in the Europa League qualifiers and 4 in the group stage of the competition. His first game on European arena was on August 2 2017 – against AEL Limassol. The first Europa League group stage match was against AC Milan.
Then young Ghanaian player moved to Russia to feature for FC Arsenal Tula on loan. He made 22 appearances in the Russian league, 5 in the national cup, scored 2 goals and was named the best player of his team that season
Mohammed is a versatile player. He can perform both as supporting midfielder and as centre back. Generally, Kadiri is defensive player. Usually he fulfills great amount of work on the field.
In June of 2019 Mohammed Kadiri signed 4+1 contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv. He’s got squad number 6.
