Dynamo head coach Ihor Kostiuk spoke to journalists ahead of the away second leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League against Qarabağ.
– How do you assess Qarabağ as a team?
– Of course, when a coach has been working with a team for a long time, it already has a certain system in place. The players understand well how to act, and the team has a balanced squad. In addition, they have experience of playing in the Champions League. It is pleasant and interesting to play against such an opponent, because there is a clear understanding of how they play and how we should act to counter them. This adds a special touch to this duel.
– Neshcheret, Pikhalonok, Kędziora and Voloshyn stayed in Kyiv. Are there any other personnel losses in your team?
– Apart from those who were already unavailable, no others.
I would like to add that we are very pleasantly impressed by your city and by the attitude of the people towards us. It is very nice to feel that you support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. This support is very important to us at the present time. But despite this, the contest on the football pitch will be interesting. And we will do everything in our power to advance to the next round.
