Dynamo Kyiv U19 continue their preparations for the second part of the season. On Monday, February 9, during their training camp in Turkey the Kyiv side played another friendly match with Pavlo Cherednichenko’s team facing their peers from Romanian club Csíkszereda.
In the first half Dynamo enjoyed more possession and regularly created dangerous chances near the opponents’ goal. Bekerskyi, Lobko and Fedorenko all found themselves in promising positions but either lacked accuracy or were denied by Csíkszereda’s defenders and goalkeeper.
Despite Dynamo’s pressure no goals were scored before the break and teams went into halftime level at 0:0.
Early in the second half Kvykviniia had a good chance to give Dynamo the lead but luck was not on the striker’s side. The Romanian team responded with several sharp attacks, yet Dynamo defended confidently showing good organisation and teamwork.
Soon after active Kvykviniia once again came close to scoring but failed to convert his opportunity. Artem Martyniuk, however, made no mistake. After a perfectly timed assist from a player on trial forward confidently struck the ball into the far corner to open the scoring - 1:0.
Shortly after Kvykviniia found the net but the goal was disallowed due to an offside position. Near the final whistle the player on trial himself scored a spectacular goal unleashing a powerful shot from around the edge of the penalty area and leaving the goalkeeper with no chance, thus setting the final score.
As a result Dynamo U19 secured a confident 2:0 victory.
