Dynamo defender Kostiantyn Vivcharenko shared his thoughts after the match against Karpaty on UPL TV.
– The result is negative but your team controlled the game, created many scoring opportunities and looked stronger than the opponent. Is there anything positive in the way the team played?
– Of course, we created many chances but our finishing let us down. The team showed character and had a strong desire to win. Unfortunately we lacked something in the final phase but that’s football.
– Today featured two of the UPL’s top scorers at the moment. However Baboukar Faal scored the goal. How difficult was it to play against him? As a defender is it more interesting for you to face strong opponents and top scorers?
– Faal is a central striker so it’s better to ask our central defenders who marked him directly. Of course, if he’s competing for the top scorer title, he’s a quality player and helps Karpaty. It’s good when our league has such strong players.
