FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted Ferencvarosi TC in Hamburg in the Europa League matchday 4 game.
Visitors started more actively and forced the White-Blues to defend. Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men coped with that and had a chance to open the score as Karavayev hit the opponent after corner.
And then, in the 17th minute, Dubinchak let our team down. He fouled roughly, referee checked VAR and sent him off.
This boosted visitors’ confidence and they rushed forward. Kady attempted from distance – Bushchan parried. Then our keeper reached the ball after strike from Abu Fani.
In the 36th minute Dynamo were very unlucky as they hit the crossbar twice in one attack.
Ferencvarosi kept attacking after the break, but Dynamo goalkeeper was saving for a while. But in the 54th minute, after inaccurate pass bask from Kabayev, Varga hit the upper V from inside the box – 0:1.
In a couple of minutes the score was doubled. Zachariassen obtained the ball after rebound and netted it – 0:2.
Karavayev could pull one back, but sent the ball over the bar after pass from Vivcharenko. In the 67th minute visitors increased the lead as Varga headed the ball in after cross by Kady – 0:3
The crossbar saved Dynamo once as well after solo effort and strike from Kajan. In the 76th minute Saldanha got a pass from Gruber and made it 0:4.
So, it’s Dynamo fourth defeat in the Europa League.
