Visitors didn’t have any tournament motivation as they didn’t have a single chance to finish higher than the fourth place in our group. Meanwhile for Dynamo this match was of great importance. They needed to win (win by 2 goals was even better) to go through to playoffs.
The White-Blues started applying pressure right after the starting whistle. They took four corners early in the game, but ineffectively.
In one of the episodes Besedin was centimeters away from goal after decent low cross from the left side by Mykolenko.
42 minutes into the game Dynamo scored at last, but Buialskyi, who netted the ball, was flagged offside.
Visitors responded sensationally. Dalmonte rushed through the right side, put a cross into the box and Aratore headed the ball in.
After the break Dynamo increased the pressure and visitors didn’t even think of attacks. Still the White-Blues unleashed the first shot on target only 71 minutes into the game. Goalkeeper parried the attempt of Tsyhankov.
Anyway, eventually home side scored. Tsyhankov hit the far corner from inside the box. Still it wasn’t enough.
So, it’s 1:1 which means that Dynamo finish third in their group.
