Such players are usually called jokers. Those were Oliver Bierhoff, whose brace helped his team win Euro-1996, and Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who scored one of his most important goals for Manchester United in the 1999 Champions League final against Bayern Munich. One can also mention the goal netted by Mario Götze in the recent World Cup final.
It’s great that now the White-Blues also have such striker, who gladdens our fans.
Lukasz Teodorczyk made his debut for FC Dynamo Kyiv on August 30 2014, after his presentation at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.
Serhiy Rebrov threw him into battle only five minutes before the time as our team opposed FC Chornomorets Odesa in the UPL matchday 5. Lukasz proved to be a joker at once as he performed an assist for Andriy Yarmolenko. In the following game he scored himself.
At the moment Teo has three goals in nine Premier League fixtures, one in four Ukrainian Cup games and three in four Europa League matches to his name.
Four out of seven goals Teodorczyk scored making substitute appearances.
02.10.2014. EL. Dynamo – Steaua – 3:1 (substitute appearance – 90 min into the match, goal – 91 min)
Lukasz replaced Artem Kravets 90 minutes into the Europa League group stage game against Steaua and two minutes later he scored. Yarmolenko rushed into Romanian side penalty area, put a low cross and Teodorczyk hit the bottom corner.
26.02.2015. EL. Dynamo – Guingamp – 3:1 (substitute appearance – 9 min, goal – 31 min)
In the return match against Guingamp the White-Blues had to score. Teodorczyk did that 31 minutes into the game.
Polish striker replaced injured Miguel Veloso early in the first half. Thus it took him 22 minutes to hit the target. Lukasz headed the ball in after cross from Oleh Husiev.
15.03.2015. UPL. Dynamo – Illichivets – 5:0 (substitute appearance – 67 min, goal – 79 min)
Teodorczyk scored another goal after substitute appearance in the domestic league fixture against Illichivets. Danilo Silva found him inside the penalty area and Lukasz hit the upper corner after a pause.
04.04.2015. UPL. Chornomorets – Dynamo – 0:2 (substitute appearance – 67 min, goal – 76 min)
In the match against Chornomorets Teo replaced Dieumerci Mbokani and goal-scoring flair didn’t let him down again.
Vida unleashed a good shot, goalkeeper Martyshchuk touched the ball, it hit the post, after which Teodorczyk scored.
So, Teo has already hit the target twice at the NSC Olimpiyskyi and also twice at Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi after coming off the bench.
We are in for the decisive part of the season and fans hope that Serhiy Rebrov will use Polish joker in the right place and at the right time.
