Match anniversary of Mykola Shaparenko

Midfielder Mykola Shaparenko has reached the grandmaster mark of 250 matches played for Dynamo in all competitions.

The milestone match for Mykola was the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League against Azerbaijan’s Qarabağ, and in the away match of the 2nd round of the UPL against Veres (1:2) the player increased his match tally.

Shaparenko made his debut for the first team of Dynamo on November 18, 2017, coming on as a substitute in the away match against Zirka (0:2). Since then the midfielder has played 163 matches in the UPL (25 goals and 37 assists), 16 matches in the national Cup competitions (3 goals and 1 assist), three matches in the Ukrainian Super Cup, and 69 matches in European competitions (4 goals and 6 assists).

It should be added that only two Dynamo legends have more matches among the current Dynamo players – captain Vitalii Buyalskyi, as well as Andriy Yarmolenko.

Congratulations to Mykola on this grandmaster achievement, and we wish him to play many more matches in the jersey with the letter “D” and three stars on the chest.
