Dynamo players of different generations gathered to pay tribute to their former teammates, who passed away too soon, to all performers, who glorified the White-Blues since 1927. They played a friendly against FC Dynamo Kyiv official Fan-club team.
Before the game FC Dynamo Kyiv president Ihor Surkis, the head of FC Dynamo Kyiv Veterans civic organization Volodymyr Muntian and Fan-club head Serhiy Mykhailenko took the floor to greet participants of the event.
Many well-known personalities followed the game: UEFA vice president Hryhoriy Surkis, FC Dynamo Kyiv vice presidents Leonid Ashkenazi and Olexiy Semenenko, Dynamo legends including Mykola Pinchuk, Anatoliy Suchkov, Stefan Reshko, Vitaliy Khmelnytskyi, Anatoliy Kroshchenko, Olexandr Damin, Anatoliy Shepel, Oleh Kuznetsov, Vadym Yevtushenko, Vasyl Rats, Olexandr Shovkovskyi and others.
Dynamo legends’ starting lineup was as follows: Romanenko, Bezsonov (c), Luzhnyi, Vashchuk, Shmatovalenko, Fedorov, Khatskevych, Maxymov, Kostiuk, Mykhailychenko, Shatskikh.
The game was really intense. In the first half Yuriy Maxymov scored for legends – 1:0.
Right after the break Vitaliy Kosovskyi made the score 2:0.
After that stars relaxed a bit and Fan-club managed to equalize, but late in the game Maksim Shatskikh scored the decider – 3:2.
After the final whistle both sides took a photo.
