FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu has commented upon the away win against FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv.
- It was a spectacular match between two sides that demonstrate decent football.
I’ve congratulated Metalist 1925 coach as they play really well, have good combinations and switch from defense to attack through passing. They use their forwards’ strengths. Their players are fast and skillful. They also have quick counterattacks. These are very important aspects. Anyway, I’m very satisfied with our performance.
The first half was tough. Home side defended orderly and didn’t give us space. We created some chances, but that wasn’t enough. During the break I made certain adjustments and things changed. As a result, we scored two and could score more.
I’m satisfied with players, who substituted Besedin, Popov, Buialskyi and Shaparenko. That’s what a team means. Performers must be able to replace each other.

- Unfortunately someone gets injured every time players are on international duty. He got injured playing on artificial turf in Kazakhstan. Tomorrow he’ll rejoin the team and we’ll see how he’s doing.
