Midfielder Mykola Shaparenko has extended his contract with Dynamo Kyiv for five years.
Mykola is a graduate of Illichivets Mariupol, where he took his first steps in senior football. In June 2015 he joined Dynamo Kyiv.
After playing for Dynamo U19 and U21 teams Shaparenko made his first-team debut in November 2017 in a Ukrainian Premier League match against Zirka Kropyvnytskyi. Since then Mykola has established himself as a regular starter becoming an extremely important player for the team for many years to come.
Wearing the Dynamo shirt Shaparenko has played 230 matches, scoring 32 goals and providing 41 assists. During his time with the Kyiv club he has won the Ukrainian Championship twice, the Ukrainian Cup twice and the Ukrainian Super Cup twice.
Thanks to his successful and entertaining performances for Dynamo Mykola has become one of the key players of the Ukrainian national team for which he has already made 48 appearances.
