FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu has commented upon the game against SC Dnipro-1 for club TV.
- The game wasn’t easy for Dynamo in the first half. What did you tell your players after it?
- Yes, the first half was tough, we opposed decent team. They had more time to get ready for the game than we did. We had to apply lineup rotation. That resulted in certain incoordination. We were losing possession too easily.
I’d like to make note of players, who made substitute appearances in the second half. They took the situation very professionally. Eventually we started creating chances and scored.
- What did you tell the team after the first half?
- First of all, I told the team to get back to our football. We must make opponents play the way we want them to. We took the situation under control, maintained possession and made visitors apply pressure. Thus we got space and used it.
