In the third round of the National U19 League, Dynamo hosted Zaporizhzhia side Metalurh at the club's training base.
The White and Blues took the initiative from the opening minutes, but for some time they were unable to bring their attacks to a logical conclusion. Creating chances near the visitors' goal, Dynamo players made mistakes when finishing.
Everything changed with the opening goal, scored by Fedorenko. Usman Savane raced down the right flank, burst into the penalty area and laid the ball back for Arsenii, who had run onto the edge of the penalty area: the ball flew straight into the bottom corner of the goal.
After the goal, the Kyiv side played with even more freedom and quickly turned the score into a rout. In the 35th minute, Fedorenko became the provider. Keeping the ball surrounded by two defenders, he played a convenient pass for Myroslav Romaniuk, who curled the ball from around 20 metres into the far bottom corner.
In the 39th minute, Bekerskyi played the ball from the right flank into the centre to Fedorenko, and just as in the episode with the first goal, Arsenii decided everything with a single touch. This time, Fedorenko provided an assist with his heel without letting the ball touch the ground, and Buravtsov found the target with a diving shot from the edge of the six-yard box.
Before the break, the White and Blues scored a fourth. Dynamo goalkeeper Maksym Roienko provided the assist. Sending the ball deep into the opposition half, he put Savane through on goal. Usman controlled the pass, outran the defender, moved slightly towards the centre and beat the goalkeeper with a shot from the corner of the penalty area.
After making a whole series of substitutions, the visitors managed to score in the second half – in the 68th minute, Petrashchak finished a vertical attack.
However, this goal turned out to be Metalurh's only one. Dynamo scored again instead. Yermak won the battle in midfield and put Hrodzinskyi through on goal, and he beat the goalkeeper to set the final score of the match – 5:1.
