In Matchday 25 of the National League U19 Dynamo’s youth team played an away match against Kryvbas at the Hirnyk training base in Kryvyi Rih.
Hosts are currently in the lower part of the standings while Pavlo Cherednichenko’s side continue their push for the title.
Dynamo started the game actively and took the initiative, opening the scoring as early as the 14th minute. A well-worked attacking move, switching play from one flank to the other, ended with a low cross from Hubenko on the right wing toward the goal area. Lobko didn’t touch the ball but drew the attention of defenders and the goalkeeper, allowing Liusin to calmly finish at the far post into a virtually empty net.
Just few minutes later Dynamo were close to doubling their advantage. This time Liusin received a pass from Bekerskyi on the left edge of the penalty area and confidently took on defenders, dribbling past three of them before shooting. The goalkeeper couldn’t react but the potential wonder goal didn’t happen – the ball hit the crossbar.
Throughout the half Dynamo maintained control and continued attacking. They nearly scored a second goal toward the end of the first half when Fedorenko, after a pass from Liusin, found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, rounded him but defenders managed to recover and clear the danger.
After the break the pattern of the game didn’t change – visitors dominated and looked to extend their lead. In the 67th minute Lobko had a chance after running onto a through pass and getting to the ball ahead of the goalkeeper, striking first time, but missed the target.
Closer to the end of the match hosts increased their attacking efforts in an attempt to avoid defeat. The game shifted to Dynamo’s half but the Kyiv side defended solidly and held on to their winning scoreline.
