On Saturday, March 7, Dynamo Kyiv U19 played their 19th round National League U19 match away against Polissya Zhytomyr U19. Both teams entered the game as close rivals in the standings with Dynamo U19 undefeated this season and Polissya having recently lost to FC LNZ Cherkasy U19 ending a 14-match unbeaten streak.
Polissya started aggressively. Karaman fired a shot from the edge of the penalty area, narrowly missing the post. Brazilian forward Lima also made a dangerous run into the box but his shot was blocked.
Dynamo U19 took the lead through Lobko. Liusin quickly played a free-kick from midfield to Dykyi who advanced and passed to Lobko. The forward controlled the ball and struck precisely into the corner of the net.
Polissya responded in the second half. Chovhalenko unleashed a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, beating goalkeeper Surkis despite his desperate dive.
Dynamo had several opportunities to regain the lead. Andreiko shot straight at the keeper, Lobko drove almost from midfield but failed to convert and Liusin’s late attempt was also saved.
The match ended in a 1:1 draw with Dynamo U19 now six points behind Shakhtar Donetsk U19 in the standings. Dynamo will face FC Obolon Kyiv U19 in their next fixture.
