FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Nazar Voloshyn has shared his impressions of the win against FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv (4:2):
- Did the red card for visitors’ player simplify things for you?
- Of course it’s easier when your opponent is outnumbered. As for me, the red card was fair, the player fouled roughly.
- Did you expect Kharkiv side would score being outnumbered?
- You always need to be ready. There’re were a couple of episodes when we didn’t do well.
- How do you feel after scoring the brace?
- Scoring twice for my native team at this stadium means a lot. This is my first brace on such a level.
- Did you have a sense before the game that you would score?
- I did, but I didn’t know I would do it twice.
- How exactly did you score?
- We practice those combinations. At first Buialskyi performed a fabulous pass to put me one-on-one with the keeper. In the second episode I scored with a follow-up after the shot by Shaparenko.
- Coach must be satisfied with you attacking efforts, but what about the defense?
- We’ll keep working to concede less.
- Today you played in the right side, not left. Which one do you like better?
- It doesn’t really matter. I’ll play wherever coach tells me to.
- Do you like working with the new coach?
- I really do. He communicates with players a lot. Everything’s great.
- You didn’t manage to play the game against Mynai. What do you think of that?
- I feel disappointed as we’ve wasted three days on the road. We really wanted to play, but there was no lighting at the stadium.
- Dynamo win the third game win a row and improve the situation in the league table. Is the atmosphere in the team improving?
- Sure, victories always inspire you to do better.
- What do you think of your performance in the first part of the season?
- It was fine, but we still need to win one more game.
