FC Hoverla Uzhhorod faced FC Metalist Kharkiv within the Ukrainian Cup round of 16 first leg.
Five Kyivans played for Hoverla – Maxym Koval, Serhiy Miakushko, Vitaliys Yahodynskis, Serhiy Liulka and Vitaliy Kaverin.
Kaverin and Miakushko managed to hit the target. Liulka was sent off for two bookings.
Goalkeeper Olexiy Shevchenko didn’t perform for FC Olimpik Donetsk as this team defeated FC Metalurh Zaporizhia 2:0.
QueensPark rangers FC with Niko Kranjcar have suffered narrow defeat against Southampton FC within the Premier League matchday 6 – 2:1.
GNK Dinamo Zagreb have played in a goalless draw against NK Slaven Belupo. Ognjen Vukojevic, who features for Zagreb side, stayed at the bench.
Gremio with Dudu in their squad played two games last week. They drew against Fluminense FC (0:0) and defeated Botafogo (2:0).
Facundo Bertoglio plays for Argentinean side Club Atlético Tigre. This weekend he made a substitute appearance in the second half as his team was victorious against Defensa y Justicia – 2:1.
Marco Ruben represents Tigres UANL at the moment. In the last game this team defeated FC Pachuka (3:2), but Ruben didn’t take the field.
Dynamo representative in the MLS Andres Escobar was in FC Dallas starting lineup and helped the team to win against Seattle Sounders FC – 3:1.
