- Ognjen, it’s nice to see you. Recently you took charge of Croatia U-20. How did that happen?
- After the World Cup, football federation decided to develop young coaches. They saw my scouting work and noticed my potential. But I’m still to learn a lot. Soon I’ll get UEFA PRO license. We follow training process of European clubs. U-20 team is a very important stage for young players. Our task is to get them ready for the national team. I’m very thankful to Dynamo president Ihor Surkis for supporting my plan to be the coach.
- Ukraine U-20 have won the World Cup this year. Many players represented Dynamo. Three of them are at this training camp. Does this inspire you?
- Of course I’d like to congratulate Ukraine U-20 on this triumph. I hope these guys will become first team regulars in their clubs.

- Generally there’s a lot of work. Many Balkan players demonstrate worthy football in Dynamo.
- Are there any youngsters in Croatia, who can enforce Dynamo?
- Of course there are. But anyway Dynamo have their own talented youngsters. They’re on the right track. I hope these guys will bring the domestic league title and the Champions League back to Kyiv.
- What do you do at the training camp in Austria?
