The Ukrainian Premier League continues to honor the heroes of the 2025/26 season and has compiled the symbolic Team of the Week for Matchday 10 as well as announced the best player and the best coach of the round. Traditionally this was done together with UPL TV hosts, experts, commentators and representatives of leading Ukrainian sports media. This time there were 38 participants in the voting.
By collective decision the experts recognized Dynamo Kyiv’s head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi as the best coach of Matchday 10.
It’s worth recalling that in Matchday 10 Dynamo ended a streak of five consecutive draws with a resounding 4:0 victory over the league leaders after nine rounds – Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. Shovkovskyi was placed first by 26 experts.
The top three coaches of the round also included Vitaliy Ponomariov (LNZ) and Serhiy Nahornyak (Epitsentr).
Additionally Dynamo winger Andriy Yarmolenko, who scored a goal in the match against Kryvbas, was named among the top five players of Matchday 10. Two more Dynamo players – defenders Oleksandr Karavaiev and Denys Popov, who also scored in that game – were included in the Team of the Week.
