FC Dynamo Kyiv midfield player Oleksandr Aliyev is set to miss the start of the Premier League season as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury sustained during the Ukrainian Super Cup match against FC Vorskla Poltava on 11 July. The 24-year-old will travel to Germany on Friday to undergo medical examination and assess the full extent of the damage. Meanwhile, doctors do not deny the fact that Oleksandr may need surgery.
