- You took charge of Dynamo in summer. What have you already managed to do?
- We’re the Europa League group leaders, besides we won’t give up in the domestic league. We’ve conducted a good transfer of Andriy Yarmolenko which is quite beneficial for the club from the financial point of view.
- Did you want to let him go as a coach?
- I did as it was difficult for him to find new motivation. We haven’t replaced him so far. Viktor Tsyhankov, who performs in his position, gets injured quite often, besides he lacks experience. Of course Yarmolenko’s transfer is a loss for us, but I’m happy for him.
- Does Mbokani lack motivation?
- Considering the way Mbokani worked under the charge of previous coaches, now he’s a different person.
- Do you agree that Dynamo must have best players, who guarantee positive results?
- The competition used to be fiercer. Almost every team gives youngsters a chance today. They must approve themselves, but they lack stability.
- What about Oleh Husiev?
- Oleh Husiev is a person one can learn a lot from.
- What can you say about the draw against FC Zoria Luhansk?
- We controlled the game until we conceded the first goal. I think it was my mistake. Substitutions could change the situation.
- Vida is about to leave the team. Is this player important for Dynamo?
- Vida is a serious loss. I’ll be glad if he changes his mind. He’s the player youngsters must look up to.
- Who can replace him? Will Dynamo sign anyone in winter? Will those be free agents of expensive players?
- The club has already signed some free agents. Of course our scouts follow certain performers. Actually we need enforcement for every line, but players are getting more expensive.
- Why did you decide to use formation with two forwards?
- We use players’ strengths. We have Moraes, Mbokani and Besedin. The latter understands that he’s not the leader in battle for starting spot so far. Anyway, we can use two strikers.
- There are a lot of performers in Ukraine, who demonstrate quite worthy play, for example, Olexandr Andriyevskyi. Can they enforce the team?
- Olexandr is a smart player, but I’m not sure we can guarantee him enough game practice. I’m glad he plays under the charge of good coach and gains experience. He’s Dynamo player and his loan agreement will be valid till summer.
- What are your current tasks?
- The task is to win the Europa League group and to reach the Ukrainian Cup next stage. We must also keep gaining points in the UPL.
