Pape Diakhaté is to miss this year’s 6 matches left to be played through the injury. Mid-way through the first half of Sunday’s Ukrainian league home game vs. Shakhtar, the Senegalese defender was taken to hospital after his unsuccessful landing on the snowy pitch.
The 23-year-old was diagnosed with humerus. A further examination will tell whether a surgery is required. But it is known for sure that Diakhaté is to be out of action until winter break.
