On Thursday, April 4, FC Dynamo Kyiv will play the UPL matchday 6 postponed game against FC Zoria Luhansk. The match will take place at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valerii Lobanovskyi.
After the away game against FC Vorskla Poltava, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men started preparations for the upcoming match at their training ground in Vita-Lytovska. Since Monday, Kyivans are having one session a day.
Due to intense schedule (Dynamo are to play 3 games within 8 days), the teams has slightly lighter sessions. On Tuesday, it started with theory class after which players took the field. A number of the youth team performers joined the main squad.
First of all, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men gathered players around and announced the training plan. As usually, the session started with scamper and warm-up. Players were offered to do an exercise according to the rules of which only headers were allowed. After five straight passes, one goal counted as two. The competition was really intense and emotional.
Then players were divided into a few groups to practice different combinations, possession, passing and attacking issues.
It all finished off with finishing practice including passing to the wing with further crosses into the penalty area.
On Wednesday, the White-Blues are going to have a theory class, lunch and some rest. Then our team will have afternoon session and spend the night at the training ground.
On match day, the team will have a meeting after breakfast. The game against Zoria will start at 15:30.
