During the March international break a significant number of Dynamo Kyiv players were called up to represent Ukraine across various national teams and age groups.
Ukraine senior national team
The senior team played two matches in March. On March 26 Ukraine lost 1:3 to Sweden in the World Cup 2026 qualifying play-off semifinal. On March 31 Ukraine defeated Albania 1:0 in a friendly match. Five Dynamo players were involved: Mykola Shaparenko (2 matches), Oleksandr Tymchyk (2), Matvii Ponomarenko (2, 1 goal), Nazar Voloshyn (1), and Oleksandr Pikhalonok (1). Notably Ponomarenko made his senior debut against Sweden.
Ukraine U21 team
The U21 team continued its EURO 2027 qualifying campaign, drawing 1:1 with Lithuania on March 27 and beating Hungary 2:1 on March 31. Ukraine currently sits third in the group with 8 points from 6 matches. Dynamo representatives included Bohdan Redushko (2 matches), Oleksii Husiev (2, on loan at Kudrivka), Vladyslav Zakharchenko (1) and Anton Tsarenko (1, on loan at Lechia).
Ukraine U19 team
Ukraine U19 successfully advanced to the final stage of EURO 2026 qualification. The team defeated Northern Ireland (1:0), Kazakhstan (3:0) and drew with Romania (1:1), finishing first in the group with 7 points. The final tournament will take place in Wales from June 28 to July 11. Dynamo player Kostiantyn Hubenko featured in all three matches.
Ukraine U18/19 team
The U18/19 team competed in the first qualifying round for EURO 2027 (U19), losing to Finland (1:2) and Czechia (13) but beating Estonia (4:0). Ukraine finished third in the group, securing a place in League A and advancing to the second qualifying round in autumn 2026. Dynamo players involved were Pavlo Liusin (3 matches, 1 goal), Danylo Ohorodnik (3) and Ivan Andreiko (3).
Ukraine U16 team
The U16 team played three friendlies during a training camp in Side, Turkey: losses to Turkey (0:2) and Norway (3:4) and won over Morocco (1:0). Dynamo players Artur Martyniuk (3 matches, 1 goal) and Danylo Dovhyi (3) took part in all games.
