Ibrahim Kargbo Junior was born in a football family. His father is a famous Sierra Leone national team player Ibrahim Kargbo, who used to feature for many clubs from Netherlands, Belgium, Azerbaijan, Portugal and England.
When he was eight, Kargbo Junior and his family moved to Belgium, where he joined Beerschot AC football school. In a while, his family moved again and he became Reading FC trainee. Eventually, he finished his football education at Crystal Palace FC academy.
In January of 2018, the day he turned 18, Kargbo Junior signed his first professional contract – with Belgian side KSV Roeselare. He made 13 appearances for this team.
In August of 2019 he signed loan agreement with Lierse Kempenzonen, who feature in Belgian third league (2 goals in 10 matches). In November Kargbo Junior returned to Roeselare and the following day broke the contract with the club by mutual agreement of the parties.
Besides, Kargbo Junior is Belgium U-19 player (1 goal in 7 matches). His team faced Ukraine in Euro-2019 elite round and the Yellow-Blues won 5:2.
