FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu answered journalists’ questions after the UPL matchday 21 game against FC Rukh Lviv (1:1):
- How are you feeling?
- As I mentioned before, I need a surgery related to coxarthrosis. We’ll discuss that with club president. I need this surgery as I can’t work enduring rough pain. Anyway, what matters today is the game.
It was a really good match. Rukh were more confident and aggressive. Unfortunately referee was letting them be aggressive while our players were booked for nothing. The same thing happened as we faced Inhulets. But that’s not an excuse. Rukh deserved this draw.
This year we’re going through rebuilding process as we lost a lot of players. Of course we’d like to know who we can count on next season and which youngsters will match Dynamo level.
Rukh are really good team and it’s strange they’re so low in the league table. I was impressed by their performance and dedication.
- Are you satisfied with substitutes today? I heard Sydorchuk telling Harmash to play faster.
- He needs to work more as when you’re 32 you need to be better prepared than 19-year-olds.
