FC Dynamo Kyiv caretaker manager Olexandr Shovkovskyi answered media questions after the UPL matchday 27 win against FC Oleksandria (5:1).
- It’s great to play when things go the right way. To make it happen one needs to be responsible towards things we discuss before each game. Oleksandria play attacking football and mostly use wings. We knew and were ready for that.
The only drawback is the conceded goal. That happened due to our mistake. Generally, I’m satisfied with our players’ performance and attitude.
- The teams had to interrupt the game due to air alert alarm and go to the shelter. Afterwards they continued the match. Is there anything you can compare that with?
- It’s hard to compare. First of all, football needs to be in your mind. If players know what they do and what for, they’ll be treating their duties more responsibly. If they love what they do, they won’t have to work a single day in their life.
As for the current situation – we asked players to do their best throughout the final 15 minutes and they did. I’d like to thank them for that.
That is our reality. Unfortunately, our country is going through war and we have to get accustomed to it. Basically we should be grateful this season even happened. If it didn’t, I don’t know how the clubs would have existed. We’re moving forward with thoughts of our victory, of our bright and free future. Thank you!
