FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi answered media questions after the game against FC Zoria Luhansk.
- Congratulations to all Dynamo fans. Today we did a good job and I’m satisfied with my team. There were some mistakes, but there’s always room for improvement in football.
I also want to thank our warriors, who defend our country and give us a chance to play football. We’ll be doing our best to give them positive emotions.
- Yarmolenko has made his second substitute appearance in a row. When will he be able to play for 90 minutes?
- We have 24 players and each has a chance to take the field. When Andriy is ready, when we see he needs to be in the starting lineup, that will happen.
- What instructions did you give the players regarding attacks and counterattacks, so that they played calmly or applied pressing?
- What happens in the locker-room stays there. You won’t know what kind of tactics we plan. We’ve fulfilled practically everything we agreed upon.
- What do you think of Bushchan’s performance? He did some great saves today.
- Heorhiy Bushchan, Ruslan Neshcheret and Valentyn Morhun are three goalkeepers we count on. I will never go personal. What I want is every player to do his job on the field. It doesn’t matter who scores. I want the team to take the ball to the box and hit the target to gladden our supporters.
- Are you satisfied with the way players fulfilled your plan today?
- I’m satisfied with their attitude. I’m satisfied with the final score. But I can’t be hundred per cent satisfied. I guess if I’m completely satisfied I should finish my coaching career, but I’ve just started it.
