FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi answered media questions after the game against FC Zoria Luhansk (2:2).
- Eighth minute of the game, the score is 1:1, Dynamo move back – no aggression, no dedication. How come the team let the opponent seize the initiative so early in the home game?
- We didn’t plan to do that, but we have a certain vision of how we want to perform. I can’t comment on that now.
- Out of the four games of the spring part of the season, in three we saw passive, disastrous first halves by Dynamo. Will there be any conclusions after the break, will Dynamo boost aggression? Does it have anything to do with early start in euro cups?
- I can’t answer this right now. Maybe it does. But first of all players need to think of their attitude. First two games of the year were quite a success. Maybe players’ attitude changed somehow. I always tell them: you play the way you practice. We’ll definitely draw some conclusions, but at this point we had to take four players from U19 team. It’s hard to reach you goals without enforcement.
- Did lineup issues impact the game?
- Kabayev had health issues before the game, so he wasn’t in starting lineup. Pikhalionok is injured, so is Voloshyn. There’re also some problems with attitude. We need to figure things out.
