- I want to congratulate everyone on this victory. We vow it to great maestro Valentyn Belkevych. May the memory of him live forever…
- In the second half Metalist played more aggressively. Why did Dynamo look worse after the break?
- Of course Metalist are good team, but we didn’t score in one-on-one situation twice in the second half. We experienced pressure, but it’s great that we kept struggling and eventually won.
- You reacted very emotionally to the episode with the participation of Yarmolenko and Dišljenković. What put you in a temper?
- There was a serious clash after which both goalkeeper and our forward were lying on the turf. I even got scared. Of course those were emotions, but I wanted referee to stop the game.
- What can you say about awarded penalties?
- As for the second penalty, the ball struck Olexandr’s shoulder or chest, after which Azevedo just knocked against Shovkovskyi. As for me it’s not a penalty. Speaking about the first episode, it was similar. Still I suppose goalkeeper touched our player’s leg. Anyway commenting upon referees’ decisions is beyond my scope.
- The team struggled till the final whistle, Yarmolenko actually played despite injury. Did you have a great desire to win?
- Yes, we had good morale. It should be also mentioned that we had seven-eight Ukrainians in the squad. Fortunately we’ve won. Kravets had a tic in his leg, for example, but he played till the final whistle. Artem hit the target and performed really effectively.
