In summer he performed for the Netherlands in four World Cup fixtures and got his bronze medal deservedly.
After return to Kyiv he stated that he would keep working hard to benefit the White-Blues and that he would commit himself only to Dynamo.
That’s what he really did in the first half of current season! On October 18 in the UPL matchday 9 away game against FC Hoverla Uzhhorod Jeremain Lens stole the ball on the flank 46 minutes into the match, started Kyivans’ attack, found Yarmolenko, got heel pass from Andriy in return and hit the bottom corner.
The goal was very spectacular and Profootball TV show polling proved that.
In November fans chose Jeremain as Dynamo best player of the month. He got the biggest number o votes for the Europa League home fixture against Rio Ave FC as he netted the decider in that game.
Lens scored brace and got one assist to his name as the White-Blues opposed FC Metalurh Zaporizhia. Jeremain also scored the decider against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, besides he assisted Andriy Yarmolenko in that game.
In November Lens played for 505 minutes. He took the field among first eleven in every game. He netted four goals and performed two assists.
In general he has eight assists to his name (in the UPL, Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup), which is the best result in our team!
Dutch winger isn’t going to settle down after the winter break: “We have good motivation. We want to reach the Europa League final, besides Dynamo fans haven’t seen domestic league golden medals in Kyiv for five years. If we win the title the team will return to the Champions League. That’s what we must strive for!”.
