- I did. I always believe in Olexandr Shovkovskyi. We took part in the penalty shootout at the World Cup together.
- Did you work on penalties before the game? How did you choose first five players to shoot?
- We worked on penalties. Before the shootout we talked to players to find out who was ready to take the responsibility.
- Did anyone refuse to shoot?
- There were some doubts. Belhanda and Dragovic decided who would shoot. Eventually both scored.
- Why did you let Khacheridi shoot?
- Khacheridi always works on penalties at training sessions. Of course he was nervous, but hit the target confidently.
- Did the situation after the game overshadow celebration?
- Do you mean fans, who rushed to the field? I think the team should celebrate and they should support us. What’s happened is wrong. I hope people will reconsider this situation.
- Was it difficult to set the team for the last match of the season?
- It’s never difficult to set the team for matches against Shakhtar, especially when the whole stadium supports us. Despite the fatigue our players did their best. This season we have a real team. We’ve won the league and the Ukrainian Cup deservedly.
