- It was a very important match from strategic point of view. Away games against Volyn are always difficult. This one became even more difficult after we conceded early in the first half. I’m glad that after the break we saw totally different team.
- Did early opener influence Dynamo tactics?
- It didn’t as we tried to follow the game plan. On the other hand Volyn defended orderly and had good counterattacks.
- Did you substitute Sydorchuk because if he got yellow card he would have missed the game against Shakhtar too?
- No, the thing is that Sydorchuk didn’t demonstrate the play he did early this season. Still Serhiy always does his best on the field.
- What can you say about Yarmolenko’s booking?
- That’s ridiculous. We’ve watched the rep five times – that was definitely a penalty! As referee saw that episode he ran faster than Ben Johnson towards our player (smiling). I hope there are legal ways to let Yarmolenko take the field against Shakhtar.
- Are you satisfied with players, who made substitute appearances?
- Of course I am as they enforced the team and created chances. I’m thankful to them as no matter how much game practice they have they do what they can. Today they helped us to pull out a victory.
- Will Antunes and Miguel recondition by the game against Fiorentina?
- I think they will. Antunes’s injury isn’t very serious. As for Miguel, he’s got back to training and I hope he’ll help us in Florence.
- How will you get ready for the game against Shakhtar?
- We’ll work as we usually do. Unfortunately we’ll face Shakhtar only two days after the game in Italy, but that’s not a big deal.
