- What’s wrong with Belhanda?
- He told me that he wasn’t injured. Anyway he was substituted as we had to enforce attack, so Teodorczyk took the field.
- What can you say about Belhanda and Lens, who were leaving the pitch slowly and Miguel, who didn’t hurry to help defenders?
- We’ll talk to these players, but now I can’t say anything. Such problems are a challenge for any team. I hope we’ll stand this test and move on.
- Could you please comment upon substitutions you made?
- Of course it was logical to let second striker take the field. Lens didn’t look as well as in previous matches. We counted on his speed, but that has turned out to be not enough to cope with opponent’s defense. As for Miguel, we needed creative player. He performs really straight passes. Anyway I don’t want to blame anyone. The whole team has lost.
- Sometimes they say it’s necessary to lose to catch up later…
- I’ve told players that. After draw against FC Olimpik Donetsk within the UPL a lot of people stated that we don’t have a team. Still after that we started demonstrating worthy football. I guess shock is necessary for players sometimes to let them realize that we haven’t achieved anything yet.
- You didn’t substitute Burda. Is that because you didn’t want him to have a psychological trauma?
- Unfortunately we don’t have a left back we need at the moment. Makarenko is injured and we lack worthy replacement for him. I think Mykyta was doing his best on the pitch. He is young and he has future.
- Maybe there’s a problem with players’ physical conditions?
- First of all we opposed very good team, which knew how to start attacks and how to play for defense. I can’t say that our performers looked tired when we were getting ready for the game. I guess it is Aalborg desert that we couldn’t create anything.
- Why did you choose Burda as left back?
- He plays better for defense. Miguel is a more creative performer.
