- It’s always difficult to play after euro cups no matter what we tell our performers, especially considering that it was the game before international matches. We’ve lost points, but I’m sure we’re on the right track. I’m thankful to players for struggling even when there were eight of them on the pitch.
- What’s wrong with Kravets, Burda and Vida?
- I couldn’t see Artem’s eye at all when I looked at him. Unfortunately this is the third time he suffers injury before the national team matches. Mykyta is also bandaged. I don’t know how he’s doing yet. Vida played till the final whistle even though he was injured. The same can be said about Danilo Silva. Still I guess football is interesting due to such manly battles.
- Why did you substitute Khacheridi after the first half?
- Khacheridi hurt his neck in the match against Aalborg BK. Before todays game he told he wasn’t hundred per cent ready to play, but we asked him to take the field. Still during the break we noticed that he could hardly turn his head.
- Is fatigue the only reason for this draw or maybe there are problems with attitude to matches against weaker teams?
- Why do you think they are weaker? It’s very difficult to oppose a team which defends so orderly as Karpaty did. One should be patient and not turn the game into chaos, but that’s not easy. It’s difficult to explain that within a week or month. Players must feel that. I don’t think Karpaty are bad team. They chose right tactics for the match.
- Wasn’t Yarmolenko among first eleven because you let him have rest or maybe that’s because of what you told after the game against Aalborg BK?
- I just said that Andriy was too tired to help defenders, so I substituted him. If you take a look at his schedule you’ll see that he usually plays for 90 minutes both for Dynamo and Ukraine national team. That’s why he wanted to make a little break. I let him have rest even though the game was really important.
