- Serhiy, you’ve already taken part in two friendlies at the training camp. Is it easy for you to play alongside your teammates?
- The first match was a bit unusual, but as we faced FC Zestafoni we created some combinations and scored four goals in the first half. I think it was a good game.
- Do you feel comfortable playing on this position for Dynamo?
- The main difference between Dynamo and Slovan is that the latter usually keep lower profile. In the first friendly I played as second forward and in the second – as supporting midfielder. The second variant is more common for me.
- How does Dynamo training process differ from the one you had in Slovan?
- In Slovan they mostly work with the ball. Even during warm-up. Tactics and ball control are above all.
Today the situation is almost the same in Dynamo. Training sessions are interesting.
- What can you say about the period of your career you spent featuring for Slovan?
- It was the first time I performed on such a high level. Though I played rather well I always featured for the reserve team in Dynamo. In Slovan I got the Europa League experience. Such matches are very important.
- This is not your fist training camp with Dynamo. Do you feel more confident now?
- I really feel confidence. I guess I didn’t experience such trust before.
Anyway only the head coach can decide whether I can benefit the team.
- Have you already had a talk with Serhiy Rebrov? Will he count on you next season?
- I guess he counts on every player who works at the training camp. He often says that young performers will get chances. As for me, I knock myself out.
- The previous season ended earlier for you as you couldn’t keep playing in Czech Republic because of visa problems. Has it had an impact on your physical conditions?
- I don’t think so. I’ll recondition due to friendlies and training process. I’m fine.
There’s fierce competing among midfielders in Dynamo. Are you ready to struggle for the starting spot?
- Competing can’t be harmful. Everything must be proved on the pitch. A lot depends upon the game style the head coach is trying to implement.
- Is it easy for you to find common ground with foreign players?
- I have no problems with that. I have norman relations with all players.
- Next season only 14 teams will feature in the UPL. What do you think about that?
- Of course I wanted the number of teams to remain unchanged, but there’s nothing doing as the situation in our country is difficult…
