For supporters of our club it will be a good possibility to get answers to questions that occurred as the White-Blues lost against Danish club away by great margin…
Not to go too far with motivation
It seems that the forthcoming battle in Kyiv will define which side will feature in knockout stage. Rio Ave FC, who have already lost three matches, are unlikely to become a serious obstacle for the team, that gets real carte blanche in the capital of Ukraine.
Our players, who are willing to gain revenge against Aalborg, shouldn’t revolve around that. They have enough qualities to gain three points.
To use time advantage
Kyivans, who defeated FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (3:0) within the UPL on Sunday, will have one day more for preparation for the game, than Aalborg, who were victorious against Silkeborg IF (2:0) on Monday.
It’s not a big deal, but one should also take this advantage into account.
Larsen factor
It’s difficult to overestimate the role of Aalborg 23-year-old goalkeeper Nicolai Larsen for his club this season. Danish side conceded five as he was sent off 57 minutes into in Europa League fixture against FC Steaua București.
Larsen (height – 190 cm, weight – 83 kg) missed the game against Rio Ave FC, but as Aalborg faced Dynamo he kept a clean sheet. He didn’t concede in five previous matches (435 minutes).
Khacheridi factor
The White-Blues centre back Yevhen Khacheridi, who was recovering from injury for half a year, took the field in the national cup match against FC Karpaty Lviv, but after that he stayed at the bench till the game against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
Still he got game practice featuring for Ukraine national team. The Yellow-Blues didn’t concede as he performed against Belarus and Macedonia in Euro-2016 qualification.
Khacheridi was in Dynamo starting lineup in away match against Dnipro and considering his play he is going to preserve the starting spot. His anthropometric data can benefit the White-Blues in the forthcoming fixture against Aalborg.
Learning from own mistakes
Unexpected defeat in Denmark was surprising for specialists and supporters, but after careful analysis logical explanation was found. Assistant coach Raul Riancho has told about it.
- We played orderly, but didn’t take one aspect into account. Aalborg left back was looking for teammates with long balls. That was unexpected for us. We didn’t put pressure on him. We shouldn’t have let this performer raise his head.
The game will demonstrate whether this error correction will help Dynamo defeat Kent Nielsen’s men.
Don’t miss the opportunity to come to the NSC Olimpiyskyi on Thursday and see this match!
