Dynamo defender Taras Mykhavko shared his thoughts with UPL.TV after the 2:2 away draw against Obolon in the Ukrainian Championship:
– Of course we’re feeling unpleasant emotions because we lost the win – and that’s the most important thing. My goal doesn’t matter much, the team’s result is what counts. We dropped points so the emotions are negative.
– Why do you think you failed to hold on to the winning scoreline?
– I don’t know, maybe our finishing let us down. It’s our own problem that we couldn’t convert our chances. At 2:1 the game was still tense until the very end and any cross or moment could bring danger. Plus Obolon were playing in front of their fans. Honestly I’m speechless – we feel drained after losing those points.
– Recently a set-piece specialist joined the coaching staff and today we already saw the result?
– Yes, of course. We’re working on it, practicing new movements, combinations, rehearsing set-piece situations. We’ll try to score from every set piece and, in general, from every chance we create. Unfortunately today we couldn’t get the win.
