Taras Mykhavko: “We went for the second half very motivated, wanted to win”

FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Taras Mykhavko has commented upon the away win against SC Dnipro-1 (2:1) in the UPL matchday 26 game.

- We wanted to win. There was a tough pause due to air raid alarm, but we knew what we wanted and eventually succeeded.

- What happened in the episode when Dynamo conceded? What it some misunderstanding between you and Popov?

- That’s right. I thought he would let the ball cross the line, so I kind of switched off, but the forward got the ball. We’ll keep working to avoid such mistakes.

- How difficult was it to oppose Hutsuliak, one of Dnipro-1 leaders?

- He’s a skillful forward, who’s being called up to Ukraine national team. It’s always tough to oppose such players, but I need to get used to it.

- What was Dynamo major problem in the first half?

- For some reason we couldn’t find our game in the first half. Anyway we went for the second half very motivated as we wanted to win.

- Players were very emotional after the decider. How big a relief was that?

- Of course we were happy as we keep fighting for the title.
