Dynamo gradually pushed the game away from their goal, while actively using the flanks in the attack, but Kryvbas defenders acted reliably. EGenerally, they didn’t let Kyivans create much early in the first half.E
Eventually the White-Blues opened the score in the 35th minute as they used their first opportunity of the game. Shaparenko sent Dubinchak down the left wing, Vladyslav crossed and Yarmolenko finished at the far post – 0:1.

Poniedielnik attempted from distance, Neshcheret parried in front of himself, but Kuzyk missed with a follow-up. Then Shaparenko lost possession in the midfield, Sosah rushed towards the goal and was fouled against by Popov. Referee checked with VAR and sent Denys off.
Still the White-Blues found their chance to increase the lead even being outnumbered. In the 73rd minute Dubinchak found Vanat with a long ball and Vladyslav sent it into the corner – 0:2.
Still it wasn’t over as Kryvbas really wanted to gladden their fans. Kuzyk attempted from inside the box – Neshcheret parried. Poniedielnik tried with a header, but goalkeeper saved again.
