Kyiv side lacked several leading performers after the break for international fixtures. Khacheridi was both injured and suspended while the absence of Tsyhankov and Vida made the White-Blues coaches use other forces. So, Pantic played as centre back for the first time this season. Husiev and Buialskyi were wingers. Still this formation was changed in the first half.
The reason is two mistakes that resulted in 2:0 for Chornomorets by the 21st minute of the game. At first Kovalets hit the far corner from inside the box and then Khoblenko netted the ball. Thus Moraes substituted Shepelev even before the break.
Besedin and Kravets also took the field, but Dynamo started creating worthy chances only about an hour into the match. Pivaric and Moroziuk put lots of crosses into the penalty area. Eventually Kravets headed the ball in and pulled one back.
After this defeat Dynamo are seven points behind FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
