Positive outcome was vital for the White-Blues for from psychological point of view after winless streak of five games in a row. As for the lineup peculiarities, young Vitaliy Mykolenko took the position of left back. This is the second appearance of Dynamo 18-year-old trainee in domestic league. Heorhiy Bushchan, who didn’t concede against BSC Young Boys away, was the goalkeeper. This time he didn’t preserve the clean sheet, but did really well in several episodes.
Home side could open the score early in the game, but Tkachenko parried the shot of Moraes. Vorskla focused on defense. 26 minutes into the game goalkeeper cleared the attempt from Buialskyi, but Moraes netted the ball. Four minutes later Buialskyi headed the ball in after cross from Harmash!
The second half was similar for Dynamo. The goal by Chesnakov after corner made the game more intriguing – 2:1. Shepelev and Tsyhankov, who made substitute appearances, increased the White-Blues attacking speed. Tsyhankov created a chance for Mbokani, who didn’t score in one-on-one situation while Shepelev found Gonzalez inside the box, bud Derlis hit the bar. Vorskla tried to equalize but the outcome is Dynamo victory!
