Legendary Dynamo Kyiv footballer and one of the best midfielders in the history of Ukrainian football Vasyl Rats has joined our club's scouting department.
Rats is one of the brightest representatives of Dynamo's celebrated generation of the 1980s. He played for the Kyiv club for nine seasons — from 1981 to 1988 and in 1989. During this time he made around 200 official appearances for the «white-and-blues», becoming the USSR champion and USSR Cup winner multiple times, and in 1986, together with the team, won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
The player also represented the USSR national team, with which he became the European Championship runner-up in 1988. His outstanding performances, football intelligence and technical skill made Vasyl Rats one of the most recognizable players of the Dynamo team of that era.
Now Vasyl Karlovych will contribute to the further development of his home club, applying his many years of football experience and professional knowledge in the work of the scouting department.
