FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Oleksandria at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 12 game.
Mircea Lucescu’s men succeeded – 3:1. Buialskyi put the team in front in the first half while Lonwijk and Shepelev increased the lead after the break.
Home side opened the score early in the game. Tsyhankov rushed through the right wing, eluded opponent and put a low cross into the penalty area, where Buialskyi sent the ball into the net.
Kozhushko responded with a header after cross by Kalytvyntsev – wide. Vanat, Tsyhankov and Buialskyi created danger frequently. Vanat almost doubled the score after low cross from Kedziora, but Bilyk parried.
Visitors did better in the second part of the first half. Neshcheret coped with the strike by Kalytvyntsev and then Tsurikov attempted, but missed.
A very ambiguous episode happened halfway through the second half as Babohlo puled Tsyhankov’s shirt inside the box, but referee booked Viktor instead of rewarding penalty. Anyway, Dynamo responded decently to this injustice. Tsyhankov crossed to Lonwijk from the left side and Justin hit the corner. This is his first goal for the White-Blues.
Final minutes of the game were spectacular. Shepelev eluded Tsurikov and made it 3:0 with a powerful strike from inside the six-yard box. In a stoppage time, Dynamo loanee Shulianskyi, who currently features for Oleksandria, pulled one back. So, it’s 3:1 for Kyivans.
